Name Change Procedures for Employees
Please let me know what should be done if an employee makes changes to their last name. In the case of a female employee after marriage, and in the case of a male employee, a change in the gazette is required. Will this change reflect in all records of the employee, such as the personal record file, bank account, PF account, etc.?

Yes, if any female employee changes her last name after her marriage, then all the documents need to be changed accordingly, i.e., personal record file, bank account, and PAN Card. To ensure that the changes reflect, she needs to submit an affidavit stating that she got married to [Name] on [Date]. The lawyer can help draft the affidavit; it needs to be on a Rs. 100/- stamp paper.
