Dear All, I have initiated a thread "Bridges in China" in the Motivation and Training head. I am attaching the same PowerPoint presentation here too with a different perspective. The attached file contains bridges constructed in China. We can start Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment and Risk Control plans during the design and execution of these bridges. This would be an excellent opportunity for freshers to identify potential hazards.
I request everyone to share their views.
Thanks & Regards,

First of all, thanks for sharing a presentation with a different (safety) perspective. This is called experience. Hats off to the engineers and safety professionals who worked on those projects. It clearly shows that safety starts with everyone and at the very beginning of a project, during the planning and designing phases. I can't imagine how they conducted risk assessments for those projects. Even while we are doing infrastructure projects, we face many problems on a daily basis for small projects compared to that. It is really very hard to work on such projects as a safety professional. I will share the same with my construction and design crew members who always support my safety department. Keep sharing your expertise with us.
