I worked for a software company from Dec 2007 to Dec 2010. During my relieving, I filled out the form for the withdrawal of my PF (Provident Fund) amount. After 3-4 months, I inquired about it and found out that they had given me the wrong form to fill in. Therefore, I had to fill out the correct form and send it back to them.
Now, for the last 4-5 months, I have been asking for the acknowledgment for the same. However, every time I ask, they make some excuse and do not send me the acknowledgment. It is not very clear to me whether the form has been submitted to the PF department or not. It's really frustrating to call them again and again and receive the same reply. Even when I checked the status online, it shows no records.
Please suggest what I can do in this situation.

You can visit the PF office with your PF number and the company's code number to receive the withdrawal status. Also, before going to the PF office, try to visit the HR department for the exact reason for the process delay.
Now, PF withdrawals are simplified, and you can also check the status online or through SMS. Make sure that you have submitted the required documents along with the forms for smooth processing.
If you still face any issues, please feel free to call me at [Phone Number Removed For Privacy Reasons] between 11 am and 7 pm.

I have already communicated with the company, but I am not getting any satisfactory reply. They are not sending me the acknowledgment, and every time they say, "You need not worry, your form has already been submitted to the PF department." Moreover, I tried to check the status of my claim online, and it's showing "no records found." So, it means they have not submitted my PF claim form. What should I do in this situation?

Dear members,
At present, all EPF claims are being settled within 30 days. Thirty days is the maximum time for any PF claim settlement after submitting PF claim forms. Sometimes, online PF claims are settled within 10 days as well. If anyone doesn't receive their PF claim amount after 30 days, it is advisable to raise a grievance at the PF portal to understand the exact reason for the delay. If your PF claim is rejected due to incorrect bank account details, you need to submit a PF reauthorization to your regional PF office. Thank you.
