Qualification Criteria for HR Position at Infosys
I'm pursuing my MBA 1st semester, and my dream job is HR at Infosys. I would like to know the qualification criteria for the HR post. I completed my graduation in BA Communicative English in 2008; there was a backlog that I cleared in 2009. Now, in 2011, I am pursuing my MBA. These delays were due to my commitments towards my family. Please provide an answer.
Thank you.

Great dream of joining Infosys, but you need to gain basic experience in a similar field from any reputable IT company as an HR Assistant, HR Coordinator, etc. Then, you may have the opportunity to advance your career at Infosys.

It's good to dream, but don't get so specific with the company. You must be impressed with Infosys' brand name and infrastructure. There is a famous saying: "Love your job, not the company." I'm sure Infosys must be a great organization to work for, but focus on your choice of career rather than companies. There are many organizations, good or bad; reality is known after you have worked with them. So keep an open mind and pursue the career, not the company.

It's good that you have a clear idea in your mind of where you are heading. However, don't make yourself too specific for any company. You are just at the beginning of your career, and landing a good job in a big company depends on many factors once you complete your MBA.
It's true that the saying goes, "Don't love your company, love your job rather," so that you will be satisfied.
One More Thing to Vinit
You should encourage the fresher and not make fun of them.
