We work in a transportation-related company operating 24 hours in shifts. Each person is required to take a week off while the remaining staff members work 12-hour shifts. The issue arises during national holidays or local festival functions as there are no days off granted. Is it possible to request compensation for the extra working hours and national holidays?

Thank you.

As per our company policy or HR policy, there is no overtime. Whatever work is assigned to a team, the team working on a project or with a customer adjusts everything, including leaves and days off.

I would like to inquire if my company can provide some form of compensation for those who are working overtime.

Nirmal
