Send your resignation attaching medical certificate and other reasons for not continuing in the job. Wait for their response. Your PF won’t go anywhere and you will get it. pon

A phone call should be enough for explaining your situation which can be followed up with a formal resignation letter. All other formalities will have to be taken care of by the employer. There is no need for any apprehension about the PF settlement.
