Display in English, Hindi, and regional languages in all the office buildings near the door. Please switch off the AC, fan, and lights when you leave the rooms. Natural light and air are beneficial for health instead of lights and AC. Please switch off your monitor when not in use for some minutes and shut down the system before leaving the office. Do not waste water (in the bathroom premises).

Lastly, instruct office boys to switch off the lights, fans, AC, and computers (except UPS charging board) when closing the office premises. Surely, all these actions will yield positive results.

Hi Rakesh,

I suggest using alternatives to circulars, which may not be read or may be signed blindly by the staff. If your staff is wasting electricity, you can include that in your staff KPIs. Additionally, you can encourage energy-saving ideas by rewarding employees with points or gifts for sharing their suggestions on saving electricity.

For example, in my previous organization, we had a large floor with the switchboard located in one corner, making it challenging for the facility team to manage the lights effectively. To address this issue, an employee proposed installing pull cords for the ceiling lights. This simple solution resulted in significant savings on electricity bills.

Hope this information is helpful.
