Hi Nazia,
well, apart from the available job portals you have social networking sites like linkedin, facebook, orkut, twitter.. its not the best and immediate but you can hold on to them, and when you are calling the candidates always ask for references they work out well :)

Nowadays Shopping malls are the best bet , the HR team sits with a portable cabin ( available at a meagre cost of Rs.15000/20000 per day ) and a heavy canvassing goes on...Many times the message is best spread there.
On spot registeration gets a gift....u can expect a good rush...and a good line.

Dear Varsha
though lot many sources have been already been mentioned in the earlier posts but one remained is MAPPING..
Mapping is asking for references from the individual you are asking for via recruitment process... we call it as group job hopping... when we requires 2 or more persons we try to screen all of them and place all of them in our company.

hello Nazia
in what type of industry are u ?? the sourcing of candidates differs from industry to industry. I read the question you asked for at the first page. I think you are looking for some materials for answering such questions in exam...
Well be more specific while you ask. or else it seems that tomorrow you have an exam and you are preparing for answers

Job portals are the obvious ones but with technology and innovation you can look beyond job sites for recruiting hard to find talent. There are various tools available that help you find candidates, besides if you large organisation or consultancy firm you can take services from companies that manage resume database.
TalentBin is an interesting tool that I came across, which provides recruiters access to candidate profiles aggregated from various social sources across the web.

Hi Nazia
There are many options to recruit skilled candidates like ads in local newspapers, social media like Linkedin where job seekers put their profile on site with their respective skills, from their you can easily get deserving candidates and there will be many other options like posting classified on sites.

You can use InterviewBuddy Pro (https://www.interviewbuddy.online), which is a Online Video Interviewing Software used for recruiting candidates easily and in a cost effective way.
HR's feel comfortable using this software as it provides custom template already built-in without the need of HR's to create again from scratch.
Try it and enjoy the ease of recruiting.
