Dear Zenobia,
Late coming is not a crime punishable under IPC, but occasional late coming could be treated lightly provided your boss seemingly should recognise your hard work and dedication. But it is all the more appreciable if you are punctual. Suppose in exceptional circumstances, say caught in traffic jam, or accident which you did not anticipate, make it a point to inform your HOD/Boss about it and seek his permission for the late. So far as it is only rarest and with permission you may be excused within the discretion of your boss. Pl.read from the begining.
Make it habit to be punctual always, it really pays you.
All the best.

Hi,

As told by everyone here late coming is not good that too for an HR personnel. Everyone else takes it for granted that HR iself is late. The first thing an employee does when they enter office is to look to HR seat to see if HR is in. I have seen that in my company happening daily. When they come in late they avoid looking at HR to just make to believe that they are not late or they want to avaoid that sight. So try to be punctual always. I do understand that there will be situations for all man, but it is not daily. In those times make it a point to message your boss that you will be in late due to the situation which should be definitely not more than twice a month. Your boss is deducting your pay just to ensure that he brings in discipline. He cannot enforce it in others unless his own department first follows it. Else he will be questioned why his department alone is given the previlege. This I am sure you will agree that no boss will want....
This is a great opportunity you have got. Noone will get the chance of getting into HR that too when he is a fresher. Do make the best use of that opportunity. All the Best

Dear Zenobia_Francis,
Few points......
1. Try to Know how your organization needs you (what kind of work/output is expected from you).
2. Don't rush to take on all the responsibilities.
3. Do little but perfect. Justify ur stand.
4. slowly scale up ur job/work scenario (widen responsibilities).
5. Don't do 'anything good' which is not good for organization.
6. Always be cheered up... enjoy the joy of sadness...
Befriend to all
