Increase in Haryana Minimum Rates of Wages
Dear All,
This is to inform everyone that the Government of Haryana has increased the minimum rates of wages effective from 01.01.2010 for all employees working in various scheduled employments. This increase is a result of the rise in CPI numbers. Details are as follows. The letter issued by the office of the Labour Commissioner, Haryana, is also attached herewith for the members' information.
We would like to inform you that the Labour Department, Haryana, through their letter No. 9618-9744 dated 24.02.2010, has notified the field functionaries about a 130-point increase in the Consumer Price Index, resulting in a raise of Rs. 130.30 in the existing minimum rates of wages effective from January 2010. Consequently, the minimum rates of wages in different categories in all scheduled employments in Haryana are now as follows:
