Hi HR Team,
I am working in a software company and I am in need of a relieving letter from my previous company. The company did not provide me with an appointment letter; instead, they verbally communicated the salary and role. However, I did receive a proper salary along with salary slips that included details like PF and tax deductions.
In the meantime, I received a good job offer. I submitted my resignation letter to the company via email, requesting them to send me all pending dues and documents to my address. Subsequently, I left the job, and I have a documented email thread of all our communications.
The company is currently unwilling to provide me with any pending dues, claims, or the relieving letter. Can I pursue these matters through the labor court?
Thank you.

Dear Pawan Raj Harsh,
I just have some questions. What was the last employer's reaction when you submitted your resignation? Why didn't you receive the appointment letter along with the other documents when you joined?
You can consult with the nearby Labour Officer to explain the situation and seek advice on what can be done.
Thank you.
