Hi,

We have been working in this trade for the past 11 years, but our projects are something different and unique. We are leveraging our experience to improve supply chain practices with a focus on social and ethical aspects. Initially, we identify the suppliers who provide products to overseas customers, and these suppliers source raw or unfinished goods from contractors, subcontractors, sub-subcontractors, and home working units. After pinpointing the supply chain, we strive to cultivate strong relationships among the various components and seek out best practices concerning fair wages, health and safety standards, environmental considerations, quality enhancement, child education, and raising awareness against child labor, and more.

Best Regards,

For the CSR purpose, the company can adopt the village nearby and provide education, healthcare, and sanitation facilities to the residents. Creating awareness about concepts like going green by planting trees and supporting clean projects.

Hi,

I am working with an Indian Retail organization. I would request as many of you to share your experience/knowledge on Benevolent Fund. Please share an insight into the following:

1. Legalities involved in starting up the fund. For example, the fund may have to be registered, audited, etc.
2. Is the collected amount required to be maintained in liquid cash throughout the year? How and who should manage the cash.
3. What should be the criteria for using the collected amount to provide financial help to any employee? For example, some amount may be given to the family if an employee dies or meets with an accident and is rendered permanently disabled, etc.

Warm regards,
Pragya

You can organize Blood Donation Camps for your employees. Plant tree saplings in your industrial area. Provide sweaters to poor school children during the winter season. Offer drinking water facilities, chairs, and benches for children at government schools.
