Dear Members,
Kindly give your suggestion on the Abandonment of service.
employee stops reporting for work. Absenteesim letters are sent to him.
5 Reminders are sent every week asking him to report for duty. The final letter states that "as you have still not reported for duty inspite of our several reminders, it is presumed that you have abandoned your service with us voluntarily and accordingly your name is struck off from our muster roll"
Is this right, or how do we frame the letter.

Dear Mr.Arnold,
With all the above documents better to organize a domestic enquiry, proceed with the process, even after sending the communication from the enquiry officer then organize the enquiry and then go for ex-party and close the enquiry.
On recieving the enquiry proceedings send a copy with all the relevant documents and issue termination. Unitl and unless you organize a domesitic enquiry and follow the proceedings the guy can approach court and come back and claim for his employment. It is a suicidial effort to take him back with back wages hence follow the process and close the process.
Thanks and regards - kameswarao
