Dear All Regards! Can anybody tell me the what is the statewise limit of overtime and what are normal work hours for the same. An early reply will be highly appreciable.:confused:

The Factories Act of 1948 mentions 60 hours in one quarter for regular working hours. In the case of cooperative work, 75 hours in one quarter are specified. However, this is not practical, as it is not followed in Indian industries where people work overtime exceeding the prescribed limit in just one month itself.
