What kind of soft skill training are you looking for?
There are many considerations to be made eg. the industry type, requirement of the trainees etc.
please mention the need of the employees & you will see that the sky is the limit.

Hi..
I am working in a software company. And want to give the training to developers/TLs/PMs.
You are right that Soft skill itself is a wide term. I want to cover every aspect like interpersonal skills, leadership skills, comm skills, body language, time management, positive attitude, motivational skills, Team skills, Eye contact, facial expressions, critical thinking skills, etc.....
Actually, they don't know how to write the emails; how to behave with fellow employees, clients; are not self-motivated; don't want to take initiatives; don't have team skills; pass comments on dressing of someone...etc... These are the things I am facing in the company.
I have mentioned what I need...so please help me out..
Thanks,
-Neha

Thanks a lot Bhaskar but we don’t want to outsource it this time... If, in near future, there is any need, surely I’ll let you know. Thanks, -Tina

Dear Neha,
This is serious. All that you mentioned sounds disastrous to the work culture of your organisation.
Listed below is the order in which you need to go abut your trainings:
1] work culture-understand its need & importance,advantages & disadvantages
2] Attitudes & positive attitudes
3] Communication Skills-body language included
4] Business etiquettes & corporate manners
5] Intrpersonal skills
6] Leadership skills
7] Time Management
Kep a lot of role play & interactive activities to give it a more hands-on experience.
This order has been given after analysing the need of the hour.
I would suggest that you have a reinforcement period that can vary depending on the topic. This will enable them to apply their newly acquired skills into practice.
Simultaneously keep a record of each trainee manager & reward the one that shows the use of the trainings to their jobs & improvement in their team handling skills.
I could help you with this as & when you need it. You could contact me on for further assistance.
Warm Regards

Hi Tina/ Neha,
You need to give them a lot of Spoken and Written communication exercises and activities.
There should be regular followups.
Give feed back and ask them to work on it .
Basic mock sessions should be conducted on altenative days for 1-2 hours.
Record the observation to track their improvement.
Handle one module at a time and split it for a few days, so that they have chance to demonstrate the same and to implement it.
I can share some presentations, e-mail the topics to

Hi,
Since I understand that you are not interested in outsourcing the Training, probably you can look for a Freelance Trainer who can provide with the training.
I would like to refer Mr. B. G. Satyendra, who is a freelance trainer based in Pune. He has good experience in training software guys. In the past he has done training for Avaya, Ignify Software etc.
His contact number is 9860421725. You can speak to him and explore the possiblity.
regards,
Kunal Ghosh.
