Dear Login Miracle,
A little correction Please read Employer instead of Employee in 6th Line.
The Er can not recover more than the current contribution from current month's wages of an Ee.
The Employer is subject to Prosecution also for willful concealment of facts in F 12A.
Rest is OK.

1.When an new employee joined in an organisation, the employer needs to deduct the PF Amount from the day
one itself.
2. when an employees basic salary exceeds Rs.6500 , its upto his wish to contribute in
PF or not.
a) If he wishes to continue PF, then by having a ceiling of Rs.6500 PF can be deducted and the employer can also contribute the same.
b) In this case, when an employees basic is more than 6500 for ex: 8000, and he is willing to contribute the 12% of his basic, he can deduct it. The employer's wish to contribute the 12% of his basic or 12% of ceiling Rs.6500.
