This is Sivasankar again. Couple of week’s back I went for an interview at L&T Technologies, Chennai. The interviewer asked me what is recruitment? And what is the recruitment life cycle? What is Recruitment process? I couldn't able to answer it because I am a Computer Application student.
Can you please let me know what are recruitment process and the steps in Recruitment process? Is there any different type of recruitment process? Which recruitment process software companies follows?

I was wondering why did they ask a candidate with computer applications background about Recruitment life cycle and recruitment process.
I didnt understand why did the interviewer was focussing on something that was not relevant to a candidate with computer applications background

hi..how will you recriut a passive person..he is satisfied with the pay package and with his position nd responsibilities being given to him in his current organisation but you want that person in your organisation..no motivation factor will work to attract him towards your organaisation...suggest me with some solution

you have asked about HRM. I would like to share my views b'coz i m a HR student . HRM means human resource management which means a function ithin the organization to focuses on recruitment & selection of right candidate for right job at right time. Its not only related to recruitment but also deals with issues related to people such as compensation, hiring, performance management, organization development, safety, wellness, benefits, employee motivation, communication, administration, and training.
It is a way that links all the people related activities from manpower planning to recruiting , managing performance ,giving training, enhacing the performance etc to the organization need and based on ideas and techniques developed to enhance worker motivation, productivity and performance.
in your language as you are a student of computer so the person who is liable to design you job profile and who is liable which person will be the best for a particular job is involved in HRM activities
