Hi,
If your company has a staff strength more than 20 then you can go ahead and register with the PF office and collect necessary forms viz., form 2, form 5,10, 9, 12 etc. Same is the case with ESI. If your employees salary is more than 15k gross then ESI is not required for them.
For PF if the Basic plus DA exceeds 6500/- then also it is not obligatory to pay PF.

1. Dear member, the coverage under ESI Act, 1948 and rules/regulations framed thereunder is statutory in nature and compulsory provided the factory is located in such area where the provisions of ESI Act are extended under section 1(3) of said Act and 10 or more persons are working. Further in respect of certain establishments viz. shop etc., the power to extend the said Act are vested with the appropriate State Governments under section 1(5) of said Act.
2. The coverage under said Act is not optional and will be applicable in the unit/factory right from the day it employed 10 or more persons. Therefore, for further details and coverage of the unit to which you have referred please contact the appropriate Social Security Officer of ESIC or the appropriate Regional/Sub Office of the ESIC.
