my company appointment letter has the following clause.do i get terminated or shud i resign?as i have heard taht bpos pay 3 times the basic if the employee gets terminated,, what wud get me more money?

Your appointment will be a probation for a period of six months from your date of joining the company, which may be extended in the case it is found necessary. Please note that you will continue to be on probation unless you are specifically advised about your confirmation in writing at any time.

During the period of Probation or on confirmation of your services there of, your appointment shall continue unless and untill terminated by either party giving not less thanOne months notice in writing anytime.

In case you decide to leave the services of the Company, you will be required to give ot less than One months in writing & the Company at its sole discretion relieve you of your dutiesanytime during the notice period, and in that event you will be paid salary up to the last working day.

In case where due to reasons beyond the employess control, the employee is required to give notice less than the notice period, the Company may at its sole discretion, relieve the employee of its duties before the completion of the mandatory notice period with or without payment of salary in lieu of such notice period or shortfall therein.

3 times more if you get terminated! I do not take that. What I can read between the lines is, such companies try to find out who got 'terminated' and then can chose not to 'take him/her on board'. Hope you understand. Because 'termination' itself is a stigma on anybody's career and any proper company will not take someone easily with that stigma.
Hence, it is always better to 'resign' and leave on your own.
Good luck.

dear
you have not disclosed your name so i could not address you by name.donot learn bad habits in the starting of carrier.first of all your appointment letter does not say anything regarding 3 times as you mentioned ,there is a provision of one month notice pay at the time of termination.
i would like to know the method ,how u will get termination.
if you are doing your duty properly why company will terminate you.
in that case you have to show some irregularity or create nusiance, so disciplinary action can be taken against you.if company will take disciplinary action and than terminate you than why to pay you in lieu of notice your serviceas are terminated on disciplinary ground.
be positive ,donot create this type of ideas in your mind.
tks

Dear Floating Penguin!!
You have posted the same query the other day. And also received a good response...
As your intentions are to make money, and only think of your benefits - I am sure...no HR will come forward to suggest you.
Here the employer faces a loss in having hired a person like you - because ultimately you have no intentions of working for their benefit, nor intentions of continuing
The more you be so selfish, and only think how to benefit from a problem caused, the more you will have shortlived happiness and long term problems.
Advice can also come for betterment of self and career - never for cheating someone and making big money out of it. Pls dont embarass the HR community by asking the same question over and over. Understand - you are being bad in doin so, and does not show any intergrity from ur end.

Dear floatingpenguin,
What is the reason behind termination or resignation?
The termination clause mentioned by you does not talk about the monetory compensation by the employer in the event of it terminating you. I'll be in a position to answer you better only after knowing the situation you are in.

This is bogus thought and has no benefits either immediate or in long term because company only liable for one month notice pay in they terminate after confirmation. You cannot except three months notice pay once its expressed in writing that company will pay only one month notice pay thats all.
