Dear Members,
I have attached an exemplary 'Interview Questionnaire' that contains over 50 questions. These questions act as guidelines for every HR professional, however, don't be limited by them. Don't rush an interview. You, as an HR professional, should be speaking no more than 30% of the time. Take time to explore candidate responses with who, what, when and why type questions.
Don't be afraid to challenge responses to see how a candidate responds to pressure. You are looking to determine how trustworthy this person is (based on skills and character), how clear they are about their career path, how well they communicate and their level of commitment to prior employers and work teams. Those of you who are computer savvy can input the responses and notes directly into your computer!
Regards,
