It's true that all the great people (I mean rich) in the world are simple and revolutionary. It is the attribute of the middle class or the higher middle class to be flashy.
We don't need to appreciate Mr. Buffet. We need to learn from the likes of him. Guys, believe me - it's very tough!

Thanks a lot. This is easily one of the best posts I have read at citehr, and this is something we can pass on to our children who are blinded these days by brands and blind consumerism. Mr. Buffet lives in accordance with what is mentioned in the book "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" though he had neither.
I can think of two people in India who are like him - Infosys and Wipro heads Narayana Murthy and Azim Premji, who also see wealth as a means rather than an end in itself.
