Hi,
Do you have a previous employee code, or are you going to create one for the first time? If you are setting it up for the first time, you can start with a 4-digit number. For example, EC1001, where EC represents the employee code. If you prefer to assign numbers only, you can do so as well, ranging from 1001 to 1027 (for 26 employees).
Alternatively, you can begin with the initials of your company's name followed by a 4-digit number. This approach may provide you with some ideas on how to proceed.
Thanks & Regards,

Even you can start with Locationwise Ahemdabad = ADH1002, Regionwise =WADD1002 As per your suitablities
Hi Durga,
I would like to provide some inputs regarding the implementation of employee codes. The employee code system has to be decided based on the expected increase in the number of employees in the company and the hierarchy of your company, as suggested by Dashrat region-wise/department-wise. It should be implemented in a way that allows senior management to determine the employee's position, location, department, and years of service by looking at the employee code.
Alphabets can be used to represent values for the above criteria, and a reference file should be maintained with HR.
Thanks & Regards, AJ
