Sir, There is no exemption for this, you have to get registered under shops and establishment Act. SARITA SHIVARAMAN

Hey Bhagwan! Tu to sabka malik hai aur kuch bhi kar sakta hai. Yeh Shop & Establishment ka form na bharna kaunsi badi baat hai? 😲

Are dukan aur establishment hamesha ke liye band kar de, form bharne ki zarurat hi nahi padegi. Yahi ek rasta sabse aasaan hai. Sorry there is no better way than this if you want to.

For any organization, it is important to get itself registered under the Shops & Establishments Act, and the certificate/document has to be displayed in the office. Under this, the name of the company is written in the local language, and also, as per requirements, "public" or "private limited" is added to it.

Madhu

Dear Sarita and Heybhagwan,

For sensible replies, the questions also have to be sensible. Such a question cannot be expected from a person claiming to be an HR professional as in his profile. Does it make sense that I want to run a factory and am looking for ways of exemption from complying with various returns/forms to be filled up as prescribed under the Act? It is our professional duty to comply with all the statutory provisions under Industrial Laws and submit various forms, returns, challans, and payments in due time to avoid any penalties, punishment, and harassment.

Further, I had given a humorous reply. Still, if the person, Mr. Hey Bhagwan, feels I have hurt his sentiments, all my sincere apologies to him. And my professional advice would be to THINK POSITIVE. Think of Statutory Compliances and not Exemption/Evasion. Thanks and best wishes. Be Happy Dear :D :D :D :D :D :D

Dear Sarita,

Now you are trying to pull the issue for nothing. If you are going through the posts, you must have definitely read my following post where I have clarified and apologized to Mr. Bhagwan for what I had written. In fact, there has been no reaction from Mr. Bhagwan to either of my replies, but you are insistent on raising the issue for no reason. You should have known how to respond to a person who has already apologized upon immediately receiving an objection. Okay, accepted, I don't know about the Act, but if you claim to have mastered the Act, could you suggest any way of getting exempted from filling up various forms under the Act? If so, please enhance my knowledge and let it be shared by all those who do not know about the same. I would request Mr. Bhagwan to please give your response/comments if you are reading this.

Thanks,
Parwez

Hi Friends,

I think many times we get deviated from the main subject. Everyone has the right to ask any sort of questions if they think they can gain clarity on the subject/topic. Everyone has the right to answer, but of course, with the thought that it should not carry any personal remarks.

In this case, Bhagwan asked one question, and he received a few responses. Parvez's first response was a bit harsh, but as he explained, it was with humor. The most important thing is that he put forth his apologies if the comments hurt the individual, and in my opinion, that's the end of the story. Instead of dragging any issue until the last drop of blood, cut it short, and let us utilize this time to post something educational, inspirational, or interesting for the forum.
