Dear Jitendra Patel, Good One. Useful input to all. But, JK18 cell (4.1 Transport Allowance) not included in JK25 (Total of 4.1 to 4.5) cell sum formula. Kindly, modify this mistake.

Dear Friend - Jitendra, This might be useful for all. But, you have missed the HRA exemption in this. Please do the modification. Regards, Premz

Jithendra,
A very good attempt. Under Deductions, you could have shown some amount against every entry. For the Housing loan interest, you have shown the full exempted amount. This attempt is really appreciable.

Dear Mr. JITENDRA,
Thanks for the informative IT Calculation sheet. As pointed out by Mr. Premz and Suthanthira, please do the needful. At the same time, I would like to request to post an attachment to calculate the TAX u/s 89(1). This is to submit the RETURN after splitting the arrears (2006-2008), of which we have received 40% under the 6th Pay Commission.
Thanks in anticipation.

Dear Friends,
The attached tax sheet will help you calculate the tax for all categories and all income. You need to type "M" for male, "F" for female, and "S" for senior citizen to calculate their respective tax. Provide the salary breakup in Sheet 1 and rent details and other saving details in Sheet 2 to calculate the IT. Let me know if you have any doubts.

Hello, I am a healthcare consultant. I receive my salary as a combination of professional fees and a monthly salary. Could you please advise me on the exemptions I can claim before the final income tax calculation? For example, can I claim exemptions for rent paid, conveyance, medical treatment, etc.?

Dear Jitendra,
I presume that the limit/ceiling has been removed on education fees. It can now be claimed up to Rs. 100,000. If this is true, please send us the updated IT calculator in both versions.
