Hi to all,
I am about to do a project on organizational development but do not have any idea about what it comprises. Can anyone help me understand what one has to do in this project? Can anyone suggest what type of project one can do in OD?
Please help me out, guys.
Goodbye

Dear friend,
For a project on OD, you must choose an organization that uses OD. SMEs seldom use it. You can target some bigger organizations of any sector for this. You can either do a descriptive study of OD in the organization chosen or choose a medium-sized company and examine the efficacy of OD programs in the company.

Hi Murali,
OD is a very broad concept. You can start with an 'Organization Climate Survey' within any chosen organization. Prepare a questionnaire that comprises 25 questions related to work, superiors, team, benefits, satisfaction, salaries, and everything else related to the environment in the organization. Analyze it from department to department. Draw your conclusions and thereby recommend changes to the management. It's not easy, though; you need to have in-depth knowledge of analyzing problems and coming up with solutions.
