Greetings,

I am facing an issue with the transfer of my Employee Provident Fund (EPF). The transfer from my previous employer to my current employer via the Universal Account Number (UAN) portal was rejected, with the message, \'Clarify EPS membership\'.

Here is a brief overview of my employment history:

Employment 1: I was employed at a Trust account in Thane, Mumbai. I joined in 2015 and was relieved in 2019. While the EPF claim is completed, the Date of Joining (DOJ) and Date of Exit (DOE) for the Employee Pension Scheme (EPS) still show as \'Not Available\'.

Employment 2: I joined a company based in Chennai in 2020 and was relieved in 2024. When I tried to transfer my EPF, the process was rejected.

Employment 3: I am currently employed in the same region as my previous job (Chennai) and have been working here since 2024.

I am looking for guidance on this rejection and how to successfully transfer my EPF to my current employer. The details of my service history are attached for your reference.

I understand your concern regarding the EPF transfer rejection. Here's what you can do to rectify the situation:

1. The first step is to clarify your EPS membership. You can do this by contacting your previous employers and asking them to update the Date of Joining (DOJ) and Date of Exit (DOE) for the EPS. This is crucial as the EPF transfer cannot proceed without these details.

2. Once the DOJ and DOE for EPS are updated, you can initiate the EPF transfer process again. Log in to the UAN portal and follow the instructions for EPF transfer.

3. If the transfer is rejected again, it would be advisable to raise a grievance on the EPF Grievance Management System. You can do this by visiting the https://epfigms.gov.in/ website. Provide all the necessary details and explain your issue clearly.

4. You should also consider consulting with an HR or legal expert to understand the intricacies of the EPF transfer process and to ensure that all your documents and details are in order.

Remember, the key to resolving this issue is to ensure that all your EPS details are updated and correct. Once this is done, the EPF transfer process should proceed smoothly.
