I am working with an Indian MNC in Noida. My notice period is three months, so please advise on how we can reduce it so I can join a new company.
Also, my manager is refusing to accept and negotiate my resignation with an earlier date.

Hi Raju,
Nowadays, some companies use the 3-month compulsory notice period as a tool to exploit employees. Unfortunately, the court is also silent on this matter when it comes to staff. It is expected that the government/court will enact a law or make a judgment in favor of staff and employees in higher categories to protect them from such exploitation.
Regards,

Dear Raju, It seems like your manager's refusal to allow WFH for 2 days a week, despite company policy, may indicate a strained relationship. It's important to have an open discussion with him to understand the reason behind this decision. It might be related to your performance or other concerns that can be addressed.
Regarding the three-month notice period, since you agreed to it as part of your appointment letter, it's something you are expected to honor. However, if you have a good rapport with your manager, there could be room to negotiate, including options like a buyout. I would recommend having a conversation to explore possible solutions.

If you do not like the concept of a 90-day notice period, you should not agree to it when it is offered. Now, claiming it is unfair will not make a difference.
Regarding Work From Home and Notice Period
I do not understand what your work from home (WFH) for 2 days has to do with your notice period. Even if you had WFH for 2 days, it will not cover 60 days of the notice period.
