I need a suggestion. One of our employees who joined us in May 2019 was transferred to the Middle East in March 2022 and resigned in March 2024. Please help me with his gratuity calculation.

Hi, As the employee was on the rolls of the company until the date of relieving, the posting abroad should be considered as continuity of service only. Gratuity should be paid to the employee based on the last drawn salary, provided the employee had completed 5 years of service without any break.
