Hi Team, I have 17 months of experience at Company ABC. They have initiated a Background Verification (BGV) process as I moved to a different project. My previous company was a startup, and HR didn't respond to BGV or HR emails for 3 weeks. As a result, ABC company terminated me without any proper exit formalities. During the 17 months, I have Form 16 and PF history.

Currently, Company ABC is responding to a Third-Party BGV, confirming that the candidate worked with them from the start date to the end date as mentioned in the HR verification format. Company ABC confirms that the candidate worked in the said position. However, they state that the reason for leaving was the BGV issue and subsequent termination.

I am concerned about how this situation may impact my employability with future companies. Please advise.
