Hello All, Are companies like Wipro, and Capgemini concerned if the employee had Dual employment history in past? Will they terminate after joining?

Hi,

It is Company specific. In general all Employers will expect their employees to be honest and provide genuine information about past employments, submit genuine documents. Employee suppressing or giving false information at the time of joining might lead to disciplinary process including termination of employment purely at the discretion of the Employer.

Hi Sona-Rali

The policies regarding dual employment history vary from company to company, and it's imperative to note that I don't have access to real-time information about specific companies beyond September 2021. However, I can provide some general insights.

In many cases, companies do have policies against concurrent employment with competitors or similar organizations, as it can raise conflicts of interest and potentially compromise confidentiality or intellectual property.

If an employee had dual employment in the past and did not disclose it during the hiring process, it could be a concern for some employers. It's generally expected that candidates provide accurate and complete information about their work history during the application process.

If a company discovers dual employment history after an employee has already joined, the action taken would depend on the company's policies and the specific circumstances. They might investigate the situation and then decide on a course of action, which could range from a warning or reprimand to termination, depending on the severity of the breach of policy and the impact on the company.

Thanks
