Hi, Marriage leaves are company-specific.
In the Marriage Leave policy, you may define the following:
How many days of leave can be sanctioned for the marriage of employees. (Usually, 15 days of leave are granted in normal circumstances.)
Whether it will be a special leave or leave to be adjusted from earned leave.
Employees are required to submit a Marriage Invitation as proof of marriage.
Any marriage gifts from the employer's side, if applicable.

As far as I know, there is no special category called "Marriage leave" like Maternity Leave, Sick Leave, etc. At least in government and/or quasi-government establishments, there is no such leave either for giving credit or debiting the leave account. At best, individuals are eligible to utilize their own EL/PL/CL for this purpose. There is a possibility that some private sector offices may have such a policy, though there are no compulsions.
