Dear Sanat Acharya, It appears that the employee is still working with your company. In that case, there is no need to issue a separate "Service Continuation Certificate" as such. When issuing the "Service-cum-Employment Certificate," please add one more line regarding "Break in Employment, if any" and write the reply as "Nil."
Thanks,

Hi, That employee is asking for a bonafide certificate. Please issue a bonafide certificate confirming his employment with you. How did you come to know that he needs the same for his next job? If he is a key performer, before issuing the letter, discuss with him the reasons for his search for another job.
