The company wants the last six months' bank statement. There is a filter option in SBI, like 11.07.2022 - 12.07.2022, where we can choose a date. Can I submit the last six months' bank statement only with a specific salary credit date? I don't want to disclose my other personal transaction details. Will the company want all other transaction details, I mean for the whole month? If they want, what is the reason? And what can I tell them? It is a very big MNC company.

The company will ask for your bank statement only to verify your past salary. You can hide all other transactions. However, if we hide the transactions, it will affect the closing balance after the debit or credit is posted, compromising the document's accuracy.

Suggestion for Submitting Bank Statement
My suggestion is to request a manual bank statement copy from the bank manager by filtering the transactions using the sorting option. Then, have the bank sign and seal it before submitting it to your company.

Thank you, Govardhan-Varma, Sir. Do you know if SBI offers this facility? And one more question. In my last company, my salary was 25,000. During the HR round, I expressed my preference for a salary in line with the company's standard without making any specific demands. Subsequently, they requested my last three months' salary slips. Upon submitting the original salary slips, they offered me 68,000, considering my excellent performance during the interview. Now, the question arises as to whether, despite my lack of negotiation and explicit demands, they provided me with over a 130% hike. They have already sent me the salary breakup. Do you think they may still require my last 3-6 months' bank statements from the background verification company? (I prefer not to disclose my other transactions.)
