Hi all, I am working in an MNC as a Trainee Engineer, which has only a sales office in India. I have only an offer letter with me, in which it mentions a stipend of 12,000 for one year. It also mentions that the post is purely temporary, and expenses incurred by the company when I am on duty. They are not providing a payslip. I want to know if I leave the company, can I show my bank statement to a new employer? Also, is it possible for an MNC to appoint a candidate like this? Please guide.

Understanding Stipends and Salary Slips

No one provides a salary slip for a stipend. A stipend is not considered a salary; it is intended to cover the day-to-day costs of a trainee, such as traveling, food, study material, etc.
