We are hiring trainees in our firm so what would be the basic salary that can be provided to them as a trainee. Need your advice.

Since these trainees are not apprentices engaged through the Apprentice Act, you should pay a salary equal to the minimum wages notified by the government. It shall consist of a basic pay and a dearness allowance variable according to changes in the consumer price index.
