Hi, I left an organization on 7th July 2021 in Mumbai and joined a new organization on 12th July 2021 in Bangalore. Today morning, 28th July 2021, I received an SMS from EPFO stating that 'auto claim to transfer your EPF accumulations from the previous employer to the present employer has been considered against UAN xxxxxx. You may choose to stop within 10 days of linking.'
My FNF is pending from my previous employer and will be completed by 15th August 2021, with some amount of PF needing to be credited to EPFO as well by the previous employer. My concerns are:
1) If this auto-transfer happens as per schedule, will my previous employer be able to credit the pending PF amount to my PF account?
2) If I stop this transfer, will it hinder my new employer from crediting the amount in the new passbook ID created by them, or will any such issues arise? Will I still be able to transfer it in the future?

Regarding the Auto Claim Transfer and Pending PF Amount:
🔍 If the auto-transfer of your EPF accumulations from the previous employer to the present employer proceeds as scheduled, your previous employer should be able to credit the pending PF amount to your PF account. This process typically involves the seamless transfer of your PF balance from one account to another, ensuring continuity of your accumulated funds.
🔍 However, if you decide to stop this transfer within the stipulated 10-day period, it should not affect your new employer's ability to credit the amount into the new passbook ID they have created for you. Stopping the auto-transfer primarily impacts the automated process of moving your EPF accumulations between employers, but it should not hinder your current employer's ability to contribute to your PF account.
🔍 In the future, if you stop the auto-transfer now and wish to transfer the PF amount later, you can initiate the transfer process yourself through the EPFO portal. This manual transfer option allows you to manage the movement of your PF funds between employers as needed, ensuring control and transparency in the transfer process.
🔍 To ensure a smooth transfer of your PF funds and address any specific concerns regarding the pending PF amount, it may be advisable to reach out to both your previous and current employers for clarification and assistance in facilitating the transfer process effectively.
