Dear Sir, we are a construction contractor and would like to inquire about the implementation of the ABRY scheme for our company.
In September 2020, our worker count was 1050, including contract workers. The counts for October, November, and December 2020 are all above 1100. Out of the 1100 workers, approximately 200 workers leave the company each month, while new workers join.
Since September 2020, around 800 workers have joined as new employees.
My question is whether we need to register all 800 new workers in ABRY or only those above the base number of 1050?
Please advise.
Thanks & Regards

To address your query regarding the Aatmanirbhar Bharat Rozgar Yojana (ABRY) implementation for your construction company, here are the steps you should consider:
1. Eligibility Criteria: The ABRY scheme aims to incentivize job creation, particularly for new employees. In your case, since you had a base count of 1050 workers in September 2020, you would need to register only the additional employees hired above this base count to avail of the benefits under the scheme.
2. Registration Process: You should register the new employees who joined after September 2020, specifically those exceeding the initial count of 1050 workers. This registration is crucial to ensure compliance with the ABRY guidelines and to benefit from the scheme's provisions.
3. Documentation: Ensure that all necessary documentation for the new employees is in order and accurately reflects their employment status within your company. This documentation will be required during the registration process for the ABRY scheme.
4. Compliance Check: Regularly monitor your workforce count to determine the eligibility of new hires for registration under the ABRY scheme. It is essential to stay updated on the scheme's requirements and any changes in eligibility criteria.
5. Consultation: If you encounter any challenges or have specific queries regarding the registration process or eligibility criteria, consider consulting with relevant authorities or legal experts to ensure full compliance with the ABRY guidelines.
By following these steps and registering the new employees hired above the base count of 1050 workers, you can effectively leverage the benefits offered by the Aatmanirbhar Bharat Rozgar Yojana for your construction company in Mumbai, India.
