Probation Confirmation
What if the employer doesn't provide any paperwork or official email after a 3-month probation period? Does it mean that the employee is confirmed or still on probation? My thought is that if probation is extended, the employer should provide an extension notice due to unsatisfactory performance. Otherwise, does the employee have the right to presume they are a confirmed employee? Please give your inputs.
Furlough Policy
The term "furlough" doesn't exist in the offer letter. Can the employer enforce furlough on employees through a verbal dialogue over the phone, without any email or formal letter shared with the employee? The employee gets two options: either to resign or accept furlough. Please give your inputs.

Confirmation on Probation
Regarding confirmation on probation, first of all, see the applicable rules of your organization. Normally, the confirmation of an employee upon completion of probation has to be testified by an order. There are judgments supporting this view. The employee cannot presume to have become a confirmed employee as it involves a change in the status of the employee and cannot be a matter of surmise. Has the employee been paid all along, and has there been any increase in pay of late? When the probation is cleared, the employee is eligible for an increase in pay.
Furlough
Furlough is not a right of the employer. The employer can announce a scheme and give the option to the employees to exercise an option for it. It cannot be forced on the employees.
