Salary Deductions During COVID-19
There is no way that salary should be deducted like this now—just to suit business interests and goals. As far as the COVID-19 pandemic is concerned, it really doesn't alter anything, and salary structures are going to be the same as originally agreed with you at the time of your hiring. It is illegal to deduct or withhold salary like this.
Please seek your local labor union's inputs and counseling if there is an unwarranted deduction or withholding of salary like this.

Salary Payments During Lockdown
Salary, whether in full or in parts, and the issue of paying or not paying during the lockdown periods imposed by central or state governments, remains unresolved. Even the Supreme Court has not passed a final judgment. In the interim, there are no directives for employers to pay based on the notifications or guidelines issued by these governments, regardless of whether the units were operational or shut down. It has been left to employers and employees to discuss mutually agreed propositions. As such, there is little hope of getting paid for the days employees did not work during the lockdown.
With no work being done, no sales, and no revenue, unless governments provide financial assistance, it is difficult for entities to make payments.
