Hello members,

Kindly help me out. In my notice period, it's mentioned as 2 months only. However, now that the school is closed due to lockdown and summer vacations, I submitted my resignation on the 10th of April. The management is insisting that I must serve the 2 months' notice period once the school reopens. I pointed out that the offer letter specifies just a 2-month notice period starting immediately, but they argue that it is not applicable during vacations. I explained that there is no mention of this exception in the offer letter.

Could you please advise on the HR rule regarding this situation?

Thank you.

That to summer vacations is not paid, bcz in the offer letter it was mention if a teacher has not completed 1 year in the school, then first year summer vacations will not be paid.
