I have been unable to pay PF for 4-5 months as my online account has become locked. The local PF agent, who used to handle these transactions, informed me that he had used his own number as the registered number, which has since become inactive. Consequently, the OTP for unlocking the account, sent to the registered mobile number, is not accessible.
I would like to inquire if there is an alternative method to deposit PF directly via cheque.

Does EPF have any agent? We have never heard of such agents. Some professionals are in the HR field who help to calculate EPF and file ECR. But all data belong to the employer itself; professionals are not allowed to put their own data anywhere. Be careful, there is NO AGENT of EPFO. Just like a CA or Chartered Accountant is not an agent of income tax, their responsibility is up to making your accounts checked and filing the return. All data belong to the PAN holder itself, not the CA.
