A private limited company manufacturing medical equipment, having more than 100 employees, is required to constitute a "Workmen Committee." Do they fall under the Industrial Dispute Act? The plain reading of Sec 2(f) says any trade, manufacture, or profession; that means it need not be restricted to public sectors. Please enlighten....

By the way, have you implemented the provisions of the SHWW (P, P & R) Act 2013 in your establishment and constituted the mandatory Internal Committee with a woman employee at senior level as its Presiding Officer? The time is fast approaching for her to file the annual report for the year 2018 before the District Officer, Bengaluru.
