We are a healthcare industry based out of Chennai. We have obtained the appropriate statutory registration and license for our company. We are planning to open a new branch in the same city with some of the existing employees who have already received salaries, as well as ESI, EPF, and other statutory provisions from the existing branch itself.
Hence, my query is whether we need to go through a new registration and licensing process for the new branch, or if we can continue using the existing one.

For same city you will require sub code in ESI but for PF you can pay through only One code.

If your doubt is about getting a license for the branch on which the business is carried out under the Shops and Establishment Act, then you have to get a separate license for the branch as it constitutes a separate establishment under the Shops Act, unless the TN Shops Act considers all branches as one establishment. This is not generally the case under Shops Acts of states. Please check with the TN Shops Act.
