PF Withdrawal and Unpaid Contributions

I worked for a public limited company and resigned in July 2017. The company did not pay my PF contribution since June 2016, although they did pay the employer's part during that time. Before June 2016, there was no entry in the passbook indicating that the employer had paid their part. Now, I would like to withdraw my PF amount, but I am confused about what will happen to the remaining part that was not paid by the company. Is there any rule or law that allows me to withdraw the balance PF amount after the employer deposits it into my PF account?

Recently, I discovered that the company has deposited some amount into my PF account, but it is not yet reflected in my passbook. Please provide your thoughts on this.

Dear Dhananjay,

If I were you, I would have checked my PF statement. In case of any discrepancy in PF deposits, I would have urged (rather demanded :/) my previous employer to make the pending payments. Yet, if after a few emails there was no action on it, I would have registered my grievance with the local EPFO office and also escalated it to the "Recovery Officer" for action on their part. Even if the company's financials are down, they can't escape the statutory payments.
