Organizing Health Programs in the Factory
In a factory, on numerous occasions, we organize many programs related to the health of employees. For instance, recently, a Blood Donation camp was organized on our factory premises in consultation with the local Blood Bank NGO. The biomedical waste generated during the Blood Donation is collected by the NGO (Blood Bank), and they have applied for a Biomedical Waste Consent from the local pollution authority.
Recording Biomedical Waste Information
The question at hand is regarding the quantity of biomedical waste generated at my premises, which the NGO collects for disposal from their end. How should I record this information? I have an Occupational Health Centre with a Biomedical Waste Disposal License for the same.
I require guidance.

Dear Sir,
The Blood Bank NGO has obtained a Biomedical Consent from the State Pollution Control Board, so you do not need to record this generation in your account. If you record the generation of waste, you will also have to submit the disposal details, which you will not possess. Therefore, the NGO will take the waste on record and dispose of it.
Thank you.
