Dear sir,
Employer responsibility to issue ESIC e-Pehchan card to employees
If employer failed to issue e-Pehchan card to employees with employer signature on affixed family photograph of employees.
Employer issued only IP number to all employees.
By using that IP Number, all employees are linking his aadhaar card, Nominee and Family aadhaar card number with ESIC through employee portal []Page Not Found
Now my doubt is as follows
(i) Can employee able to avail benefits under ESIC Scheme by providing only IP number to hospital
(ii) Without e-Pehchan card, Can employee avail benefits under ESIC Scheme
(ii) What are the mandatory documents required to employees to avail ESIC benefits for himself and his family
(iii) If employee is showing screenshot page of his and his family membership enrollment under ESIC (Proof of ESI member downloaded from employee portal), Is it enough to avail benefits for himself and his family
(iv) Is it mandatory to affix family photograph of employee & to get employer signature on e-Pehchan card. Is it under rules and regulations of ESIC at present.
(V) When IP number is required and When e-Pehchan card is required
Please clarify
Thanks with Regards

Now my doubt is as follows
(i) Can employee able to avail benefits under ESIC Scheme by providing only IP number to hospital - NO epehchan Card is mandatory
(ii) Without e-Pehchan card, Can employee avail benefits under ESIC Scheme - No
(ii) What are the mandatory documents required to employees to avail ESIC benefits for himself and his family- AADHAR card linkage only line to IP Family details.
(iii) If employee is showing screenshot page of his and his family membership enrollment under ESIC (Proof of ESI member downloaded from employee portal), Is it enough to avail benefits for himself and his family- can be tried at EST HOSPITAL but little skeptical about the same.
(iv) Is it mandatory to affix family photograph of employee & to get employer signature on e-Pehchan card. Is it under rules and regulations of ESIC at present__ Ix And hear card is linked then photo is not compulsory
(V) When IP number is required and When e-Pehchan card is required- till time IP number is not Confirmed document by E-Pehchan i s.

Dear Thirumurugan,
Please note that ESI Has stopped the Practice of issuing "Pehchan Card" to Insured members. Now, Employer has to cover Employee under ESI Act & issue "ESI E Pehchan "Print duly Signed by Insured Person & Employer together with Company Seal.
Insured Person & Family Members Aadhaar Numbers to be seeded in the Portal. While taking Treatment, Aadhaar Card Copy & ESI E Pehchan Print to be carried.
Family Photograph is not mandatory consequent to linking of Aadhaar Number.
If Aadhaar Number is not seeded, family Photograph duly Signed by Employer with Seal of Company required

if the employer has issued the IP number then what is the trouble to get the e-pahchan? it can be printed from the member portal also, signature is mandatory of employer , to ascertain that the IP is still working and contributing in the establishment
in case of any emergency, the IP would not get barred, if IP has seeded adhar, but they will issue form 28 and form 37 to get it signed from emplyer

In emergency cases they do accept ESI running letter which can get in the online. But every employer responsibility to give e-pehachan card with valid signature on the card if not provided you can take help workers or union representative to get the same in this regard.
