Hi, Can any one guide me, As an HR, i come office late, but maintain 9 hrs working hours . IS that not sufficient, or i should be Punctual. Thanks & Regards, VP

Hi there.

One of the days you are late is fine. In fact, you have to set an example by coming to the office on time so that nobody points a finger at the HR department, who monitor employees' time and attendance. I hope your question is answered. There is no second opinion on this. Unless you have taken special permission or an exception has been made.

Maintaining discipline in the office is an integral part of the HR function. Getting late once in a while is not a problem; everyone in the office notices when HR personnel arrive late, but no one notices when they work late because most employees might have already left the office. Unless there is an emergency, please try to be on time always because when you take action against habitual latecomers, these instances are openly quoted.
