I have been managing the HR process in my company. Some of our employees are unable to provide us with the UAN numbers related to their EPF accounts. Due to this, we are unable to make the EPF contribution as per the new EPFO directives. This is leading to non-compliance. Is there any way this can be circumvented? Is anyone aware of any relaxations for new joiners' data to be uploaded at a later date while making the EPF payment for existing employees?

submit the data of available employees, you can make additional ECR and challan later, for the remaining employees from now, generate / seed the UAN upfront immediately on the joining of employee,
