I want to know about which single ID proof should be considered for entering the names of the father, mother, and spouse in company records as well as in compliance records. If we strictly follow the Aadhar card, then there are two options available: (i) employee's Aadhar card for the father's name and (ii) father's Aadhar card for the father's name. The same applies for the mother and spouse. Which practice is more appropriate?

Aadhar is now the master document for ESIC, as well as EPFO for Member Employee. EPFO needs PAN and bank account details along with Aadhar. ESIC needs bank account details. For family details, Aadhar is needed for each family member. For nomination under EPFO, the member can update family details with any one ID.

under UAN 2.0 only employee member aadhar is needed, thereafter you have to get LIN of employee from labour.nic.in
