Members and pensioners who wish to continue availing of the pension and membership benefits, including the Central Government's contribution and subsidy under the scheme, are required to furnish proof of possession of an Aadhaar number or undergo Aadhaar authentication as per the procedure laid down by EPFO.
Application for Aadhaar enrollment must be made by January 31, 2017. Until the Aadhaar number is assigned, benefits can be availed by furnishing a Voter ID and a copy of the request made for Aadhaar enrollment.
